It’s time for SPRING CLEANING!
SPRING is here! The slush is off the roads, but remains on your car. Frustrating, we get it. There is no better time to start the deep clean on your vehicle then now! Nothing feels better (and drives better) than a clean vehicle!
Here are our top tips for giving your vehicle the spring refresh it needs!
Clean from the top down
Dirt drips downward. One of the best tips we have for cleaning your car: clean from the top down! Make sure you wipe your dash, doors and seats from the cleanest part, to the dirtiest (the bottom). This avoids spreading the dirt around, instead of removing it!
Vacuum, Vacuum, Vacuum
We know all too well how the rocks from outside find their way into, and under your mats! Give your car a good vacuum to get rid of all that dirt, dust, debris and tiny rocks that keep lingering at your feet!
Switch up your mats
If you’re a major car lover, you probably have your protective “winter mats” installed in your vehicle. It’s time to freshen up, and bring out your spring ones! If you don’t have both, it might be a good time to invest in some new floor accessories. It will instantly change the look and feel of your vehicle – right in time for spring!
Get out the SALT
You might have some salt residue on the inside of your vehicle, leftover from the harsh winter roads. The best way to get it out? Mix a little warm water with vinegar. Spray on the salt stain; rub with a brush and then dab with a dry cloth to get it out!
Use an air compressor in tight spaces
If you can’t get out that stubborn grime with a vacuum, its time to bust out an air compressor! You can use the kind used for keyboards and computers to get that grime out, especially between the seats.
